Osteos of Noosa’s Story

Supporting Australia.

From the Outback Osteos to the Osteos of Noosa — meet our founders and hands-on therapists, Chris and Amanda Bell.

Over the last four years, Chris and Amanda have been travelling this beautiful country as the Outback Osteos. Taking their skills, knowledge and passion to some of the most remote towns in Australia. They believe all Australians deserve access to healthcare and they made it their mission to provide hands-on healthcare, education and mental health counselling to people from all walks of life. Chris and Amanda have a passion for adventure and a desire to help those Australians in need.

They are proud to still be providing fortnightly Osteopathic care to the remote town of Roma in outback central Queensland.

Educating Students.

The last four years have been the most rewarding years of each Chris and Amanda’s careers. They grew tremendously as people, but even more as Osteopaths. In August of 2022 the Outback Osteos led a group of Osteopathy students on their first ever student internship in outback Queensland. They now run this trip numerous times each year.

This program brought fifth year university students to the bush and provided a regional town with much needed access to more allied health services. The program was such a success they will run it annually, coupled with their fortnightly outreach trips to outback Queensland.

Nestling in Noosa.

Chris and Amanda have travelled this entire country —and nowhere felt more like home than the Sunshine Coast. So here they are, taking everything they have learnt from their years helping people, all over Australia, and bringing it into a brand new fresh space in beautiful Noosaville, Queensland.

Building an amazing team.

Our Osteos of Noosa family is continually growing. We now have Osteopaths Chelsea, Mia and Amy on board, as well as, two beautiful receptionists Chrissy and Sara. We are so proud of our team and cannot wait to welcome you into our space.

Sustainable mindset.

Osteos of Noosa are fully committed to aligning their practice to a minimal footprint and reducing our impact on the environment.

These are just some of the things they have adopted across the clinic, practice and business:

  • Purchase environmentally conscious linens for beds that are light weight to fit more in a single washing load and take less energy to dry

  • Referrals, letters and receipts are shared to clients electronically as the first point of contact, to minimise the usage of paper

  • Non-toxic cleaning products are used throughout the building and business

  • Buy local, environmental conscious products for use and to sell

  • We use online booking systems to minimise diary/paper use

  • Source environmentally conscious hygiene products and coverings for treatment tables where possible
